Project Updates

The Maumee Valley Planning Organization's long range transportation plan, Moving Together 2040, is a multi-modal, comprehensive plan meant to serve as a blueprint for how the MVPO region wants the transportation system to improve over time.  Moving Together 2040 is updated every five years and in between Plan updates, the Plan Project List is updated on an annual basis in order to stay current with the MVPO region's transportation needs.

In order to develop the Plan Project List for Moving Together 2040, MVPO solicited projects from local governments in the region, members of the public, and MVPO's Transportation Committees. After a list of projects had been compiled, those projects were ranked using two-step process and criteria (see below) developed to identify the most regionally significant projects in the five-county area.
