Currently, we are looking to hire a full-time, Planner/GIS Technician. This individual will be responsible for working with local governments to plan and manage the implementation of Transportation and Community Development programs. This individual is also responsible for preparing applications for funding, facilitating meetings, presenting information to community groups and public officials and performing other duties, as assigned, to assist in attaining and/or completing projects/programs that Maumee Valley Planning Organization administers.
Strong consideration will be given to applicants who possess mapping abilities using GIS/ArcGIS software.

Part-Time Demolition Site Monitor
Currently, we are looking to hire a part-time, demolition project monitor with some construction knowledge. This individual will be responsible for traveling to multiple demolition sites to check on the progress of projects. This individual is also responsible for forging good working relationships with our demolition contractors when conducting the site visits.
Whomever fills this position is expected to work one full day, once a week. A company vehicle will be provided in order to conduct the site visits. No lifting is required but the individual will be expected to enter/exit a vehicle multiple times a day. A drivers license is required. This position will last one year and end in June 2023 upon completion of all demolition work.
