Defiance County, Ohio

Small Business Relief Program

Defiance COunty header.jpg

Small, locally owned businesses make up the heart of Defiance County, Ohio. Over the years these small businesses have provided unwavering support to the community by sponsoring student led activities, donating supplies in times of needs, and keeping the regions economy healthy. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic has hit many of these small businesses hard and the time has come to thank them for their support over the years. To provide financial relief to businesses struggling from impacts of the pandemic, the Defiance County Commissioners have created the Defiance County Small Business Relief Program using CARES Act funding.

The Small Business Relief Program provides up to $5,000 in grant money to locally owned businesses that does not need to be repaid. Below, you will find all of the documents needed to successfully apply for this grant.

The application and supporting documentation for this grant is to be e-mailed to COVIDrelief@mvpo.org by 5:00 pm on Friday, October 2, 2020.
